Our Mission
At Harlows Heroes, our mission is dedicated to providing essential funding and support for current and retired canines who are or have faithfully served our communities. Our mission is to ensure that these remarkable animals, who have selflessly devoted their lives to protecting and serving, receive the care, love, recognition and necessary and essential protective and training equipment they deserve during their time on the job and during retirement.
Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to secure the necessary resources to meet the unique needs of current and retired canines. We believe that these loyal and dedicated animals have earned the right to a safe, comfortable and fulfilling career and retirement. By providing financial assistance, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on some departments and our devoted K9 Handlers. We want to ensure that our K9's have access to the best medical care, nutritional support, protective equipment, training aids and comfortable living arrangements to include palliative care and humane euthanasia.
We understand the profound bond between these animals and their handlers, and we recognize the importance of maintaining that connection even after retirement. By providing financial relief for the handlers, we are able to ensure our retired K9's are kept together with their handler while still getting the care they deserve.
In essence, our non-profit's mission is to honor the service of dedicated K9 Teams both current and retired by providing them with the care, resources, and recognition they deserve. We are committed to making a positive difference in their lives and ensuring that their career and retirement years are filled with comfort, love and appreciation. Together, we can give back to these extraordinary animals who have given us so much.
